Services

Private pay sessions

The fee for a session is $150.

I can file out-of-network claims for you. Depending on your out-of-network benefits, your insurance may then reimburse you.

Some patients prefer privacy, in which case insurance is never notified.

Insurance

I am in-network with UnitedHealth Care. This includes UHC, UMR, and Optum. I am not in-network with Medicaid or Medicare.

When using insurance, what you pay for sessions depends on your policy. Typically the cost of each session is the cost of your specialist co-pay. In some cases you need to meet your deductible before the plan supplements costs.

Payment Methods

Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted.

  • Since January 3, 2023, following the passage of the No Surprises Act, Patients seeking medical care are legally entitled to request a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of the cost of treatment.

To give a rough estimate, if you are not using insurance and come to weekly sessions, the cost of six months of therapy would be about $3,900. For six months of twice-a-week therapy, the cost would be approximately $7,800.

If you are using insurance, the cost of treatment will depend upon your insurance coverage.

I am happy to provide a GFE tailored to you after completing an assessment, at which point I am able to make an informed treatment recommendation.
